PAT Testing Procedure

PAT Testing involves a series of inspections and various electrical tests depending upon the Classification of the appliance. The appliance does need to be turned off and disconnected for the testing to be done but our procedure will cause minimal disruption. If we are testing at a business during operating hours we would only work on a single workstation at a time.

We can also carry out testing for you out of hours and at a weekend so we would not disrupt your workplace at all.

Testing is carried out using only qualified personell and equipment that is calibrated and certified annually so you can be assured of a professional service.

Each item that is tested will get a PAT test label to indicate a pass or fail. You will also get a summary report detailing all the appliances we tested along with a certificate which can be sent in to your insurance company should they need a copy of it.
